I had the pleasure of making the Cashton Baby Blanket for my friend’s newest family member. Baby blankets are one of my favorite items to make. Fun Fact: Baby blankets were one of the first items to make and sell when I first started crocheting. This simple cuddly baby blanket makes for a great baby gift. It would also make for a comforting blanket for a small child undergoing treatment. Find the materials list below, and purchase an ad-free PDF by clicking here. Enjoy!

I used the J hook to chain with. This keeps my chain from being tight.
Chain 3 at beginning of row counts as a dc unless otherwise stated.
For this particular blanket I did not add an edging per my clients request. We didn’t feel that it need one.
