Marshmallow Scarf | American Crochet | Crochet Pattern

This beginner friendly, light and squishy Marshmallow Scarf crochet pattern makes a great accessory for Spring or any time of year. The stitches make it airy, but because it’s worked with a worsted or chunky yarn this lace scarf is also warm enough for cooler Spring weather. Beginners as well as more advanced crocheters will find this scarf project quick and easy!

• Beginner/Intermediate

Yarn

• Red Heart, Strata – Aran, 76% Acrylic, 24% Nylon;  95 yards/100 grams, #5 Bulky (2 balls = 190 yards)
• Or try #4 worsted weight Red Heart Soft in “Off White”

Hook and Notions

• Size Hook: L/11 (8mm)
• scissors
• blunt needle

Measurement

• 6-inches wide and 64-inches long

Gauge

• 4 patterns + 6 rows = 4-inches

Abbreviations

• Ch = chain
• Sc = single crochet
• Dc = double crochet

Pattern Notes

• Chain 3 at beginning of row does not count unless otherwise stated.

Chain 20,

Foundation Row (RS): Work (Dc, sc) in the 4^th chain from the hook, * chain 3, skip the next 3 chains, work (dc, sc) in the next chain, repeat from * across. Turn

 

Row 1: Chain 3 (see pattern notes), skip the first single crochet, * work (dc, sc) in the next dc, chain 3, skip the next chain 3 space and sc, repeat from * across, ending with a (dc, sc) in the next dc, skip turning chain 3. Turn

 

 

Rows 2-95: Repeat Row 1

Fasten off and weave in ends.
