Level of Difficulty – Beginner
Yarn – Red Heart Anne Geddes Baby #3 light, 3.5 oz/340 yds/310 m, 1 skein of each, Bumble (Color A), Dolphin (Color B), Taffy (Color C) and Lily (Color D)
Hook and Notions: Hook size: H (5mm), Scissors and blunt needle
Measurement – 52-inches wide and 32-inches long
Gauge – 8 stitches + 5 rows = 2-inches
Abbreviations
Ch = chain
Dc = double crochet
Special Stitches
V Stitch (dc, ch 1, dc) in designated Chain or space
Notes
At beginning of Row 2 the Chain 4 counts as dc and Chain 1 space
End of Row 2s, last Chain 1 made counts as turning Chain and first sc for next row
Instructions
Starting with Color A (Bumble)
Chain 209 (or any multiples of 4 + 1)
Section One
Row 1: V Stitch in 3rd chain from hook (first skip chains counts as turning chain and first sc), * skip next chain, sc in next chain, ** skip next chain, V Stitch in next chain, * repeat from * to * across, ending at. ** (52 V Stitches)
Row 2: Chain 4, * work (sc, ch 1) in chain 1 space of V Stitch, work (dc, ch 1) in next sc, * repeat from * to * across, working last (dc, ch 1) into turning chain of previous row. Turn (104 ch 1 spaces)
Fasten Off; Change Color to B (Dolphin)
Row 3: * V Stitch in next sc, sc in next dc, * repeat from * to * across. Turn (52 V Stitches)
Rows 4-6: Repeat rows 2 and 3
Fasten Off; Change Color to C (Taffy)
Rows 7-9: Repeat rows 2 and 3
Fasten Off; Change Color to D (Lily)
Rows 10-14: Repeat rows 2 and 3

Edging
Attach Color A (Bumble) in the corner space of one side
Row 1: Chain 2 (counts as first sc), sc in the end of each row to the next corner (make sure you work over your ends or weave them in), fasten off. Repeat for the other side.
