Description

The S’mores Tote is a roomy, sturdy crochet market bag with a beautifully textured post-stitch body — perfect for farmers markets, the beach, or hauling your yarn. Worked in washable cotton, it holds its shape, only gets better with use, and makes a wonderful handmade gift.

I used Bernat Handicrafter in Warm Brown and Sand Dune for the sample shown — cozy, s’mores-inspired tones made for slow-summer stitching.

This pattern is Week 1 of the Stitch the Season: Golden Hour CAL

To substitute:
This pattern calls for worsted weight (Size 4) cotton yarn. When substituting yarn please keep these tips in mind:

Why cotton is strongly recommended: Cotton yarn is the best choice for coasters because it is naturally absorbent, durable, and machine washable — making your finished coasters genuinely functional as well as beautiful. Cotton also blocks beautifully if you want a perfectly flat, crisp finish.
