Level of Difficulty – Beginner
Yarn – 2 Skeins of, Loops & Threads, Country Loom #6 Super Bulky, 100% Acrylic, Color #01165 Driftwood, 104 yds/95 m/5 ozs/140g
Hook and Notions – Size Hook: N/13 (9.0mm)
Measurement – Laying flat width 22 inches, height 22 inches
Gauge – Not important
Abbreviations
Ch = chain
Dc = double crochet
FHDC = foundation half double crochet
Hdc = half double crochet
Notes – The stitches are worked in between the stitches of previous row instead of the normal top of the stitches.
Chain 3 at beginning of rows counts as the first stitch.
Instructions
FHDC 42
Row 1: Chain 3, dc in space between the stitches across, dc in the last stitch. Turn (42 dc)
Row 2: Chain 3, skip the next stitch, work (dc, hdc) in between the next 2 stitches, skip the next 2 dc, * work (dc, hdc) in between the next 2 stitches, skip the next 2 stitches, * repeat from * to * across, dc in the last stitch. Turn (22 dc, 20 hdc = 42 sts)
Row 3: Chain 3, work (dc, hdc) between each dc and hdc of previous row, dc in the last stitch. Turn (22 dc, 20 hdc = 42 sts)
Rows 4-28: Repeat Row 3 (42 sts)
Fasten off and weave in all ends.
