  2. 18 inches is small for anyone I would make this hat for, even my granddaughter who’s 6. I love the shell and post design.
    I’m going to figure out the stitch count and enlarge to make a 22 inch band size.

      I’m sorry you feel that way. Not everyone has the same tension therefore, yours may come out smaller or bigger. The band gives a little.
