The Shabby Chic Belt pattern was originally part of the 2019 Bohemian Chic Blog Hop, a collaboration between myself and a fellow designer. This unique belt is made from eight granny squares, each crocheted using three vibrant colors of worsted weight yarn, and then joined together for a fun, eclectic look. While I appreciate the creativity of this design, my approach to belts has evolved since then. However, the granny square used in this pattern remains a versatile element that can be adapted into many other projects, making it a great addition to any crocheter’s repertoire.

I love wearing belts that only serve as fashionable. Just a cute, chic, make you feel good kinda belt. I think those types of belts compliments an outfit on a larger scale verses those that are cute but necessary to hold up your pants and/or skirt.
