Basic Material Requirements
Yarn
What colors? Whatever your heart desires. You can use multiple colors, a solid color or a gradient of sorts.
You can work with my suggested yarn and color or select your own yarns and colors!
** To make this shawl is completely optional. **
MY COLORS THAT ARE USED IN THE DESIGN!
Lion Brand CupCake #3, Color: Coffee Break
I decided to use Lion Brand CupCake #3 weight for my Winter Wonder Shawl so it would be a little lighter and have a decent amount of rows.
The amount of yarn you will need will alter depending on your yarn weight and hook size. The finished size of your shawl will also vary on your yarn and gauge.
Hook
Size Hook: I will be using an H (5mm) & I (5.5mm) crochet hook – I’ll explain the need for two hooks on Friday.
Notions
Scissors, stitch markers, blunt needle, and tape measure
Shawl Size
TBD – The size of your shawl will depend on the size yarn and hook you end up using.
Gauge
TBD
Skill
Easy to Intermediate – stitches will range from beginner to slightly more advanced.
Notes
There is not an official signup page!
You can set your own pace and work at your convenience!
I use US Crochet stitch terminology
* Tension is necessary for this project to be perfect. However, the same type of yarn and hook throughout the project is recommended. *
I recommend using the suggested hook your yarn calls for.
**Just keep in mind your gauge should still be close to mine.**
