Hi Everyone! Welcome to Winter Wonder Shawl Crochet Along! I am so excited to be starting this Mystery shawl with you today. I cannot wait to see the color(s) you’ve chosen and getting to know who you are crocheting it for as we create our shawls. My goal for this mystery crochet along is for us to have a lot of fun, create a gorgeous shawl, and share our work with one another. Enjoy!

Pattern Notes
Queue & Favorite on Ravelry!
I used Lion Brand Cupcake #3 in Coffee Break. You may use any size yarn and the recommended hook size. However, depending on the bulkiness of the yarn will depend on how defined your stitches are.
If your yarn suggests using a I hook, then you will also need a J hook. UNLESS you crochet loosely
Chain 1 at beginning of row does not count.

Special Stitches
Shell – work (2dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in indicated stitch
FPdc (Front Post double crochet) – Insert hook into the front of your work, behind the indicated stitch and then through your work such that your hook is now at the front of your work again. Pull through final 2 loops on your hook.
BPdc (Back Post double crochet) – Yarn over on hook, insert hook into hole next to the post of the next stitch, on the “hook side” from back to front, bring the hook back to the back of the fabric around the post, to the hole farther from the hook, yarn over and draw through a loop, bringing it through both sides of the fabric (3 loops on hook), yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook (2 loops remaining on hook), yarn over and draw through remaining 2 loops on hook.
