Welcome back to American Crochet. I’m excited to introduce the Everyday Kisses Earwarmer, featured in the Love Crochet Patterns Collection, part of the Head Over Heels Blog Hop 2026 hosted by MadameStitch. This annual event highlights cozy, wearable crochet patterns designed to keep you warm from head to toe — hats, earwarmers, socks, slippers, and more.
As today’s featured designer, you can download the premium PDF for free for 24 hours. After the free window closes, the PDF will be available for purchase only.

About the Everyday Kisses Earwarmer
The Everyday Kisses Earwarmer is soft, textured, and perfect for everyday wear. The stitch pattern creates a gentle, kiss‑like texture that looks beautiful in both solid and variegated yarns. It’s warm without being bulky, stretches comfortably, and stays in place — ideal for errands, walks, school drop‑offs, or chilly mornings when you don’t want to wear a full hat.
This is a beginner‑friendly project that works up quickly and makes a thoughtful handmade gift, market item, or charity project.

Pattern Notes
- This pattern is written in US terms.
- Worked in the round
- Ch 1 at beginning of the round does not count as a stitch.
- Repeat Round 3 until your headband/earwarmer is the height you would like it to be. Each repeat adds approximately 1/2″ of height.
- Great for quick gifts, markets, and charity projects
Special Stitches
- Sc 3rd Loop: With the front of the stitch facing you, look at the top of the stitch, and find the sideways “V”. Next, bend the stitch to look at the back, and you should see another “V”. You’ll be working into the back loop of that “V”, this is called the 3rd loop. When working in across, like you are in the square the 3rd loop should be facing you.
