Welcome Everyone! Today we are going to learn how to Half Double Crochet Front 2 Loops Cluster. This technique gives a lovely textured look to your project. Crochet With Mistie! ~ Half Double Crochet Front 2 Loops Cluster
For this stitch technique I chose to use an I (5.5mm) hook and J (6mm) hook, cotton yarn. This yarn is a #4 light weight 100% cotton yarn. It’s one of my go to yarns when working on stitch tutorials. I also love using it for items for the home.
Using a hook size up from that the pattern or yarn label calls for – I used my J hook

Stitch Definition
Half double crochet front 2 loops cluster (HDCF2LCL): Yarn over, insert hook through the front two loops. Yarn over and pull back through, yarn over insert hook into the same front two loops again, yarn over, pull back through, yarn over and pull through all loops on the hook.

Half Double Crochet Front 2 Loops Cluster
Chain any number
I chained 20 with J hook (Refer to Notes)
Row 1: Hdc in the 2nd chain from the hook and in each chain across. Turn (18 hdc)
Row 2: Chain 1, sc in same stitch, *HDCF2LCL (See Notes) in the next stitch, sc in the next front two loops,* repeat from *to* across, sc in the last stitch. Turn (18 sts)
Repeat Row 2 until your piece is the size you want.
