Yarn – Premier Yarns Deborah Norville EVERYDAY # 4 Medium, Lava (roughly 25 yards)
Hook and Notions – Size Hook: H (5mm), scissors, and yarn needle
Measurement – 12-inch head circumference will fit Doll
Gauge – 3 patterns over 4 rounds = 2 inches
Abbreviations
Ch = chain
Sc = single crochet
Dc = double crochet
Hdc = half double crochet

Hat Instructions

Round 1: Chain 42; join with a slip stitch in the first chain. (42 sts)
Round 2: Chain 1, hdc in the first chain, hdc in each chain around; join with a slip stitch in the top of the first hdc. (42 sts)
Round 3: Chain 1, work (1 sc, 2 dc) in the same stitch as join, * skip the next 2 stitches, work (sc, 2 dc) in the next stitch, * repeat from * to * around; slip stitch in the top of the first sc. (42 sts)
Round 4: Chain 2, work 2 dc in the same stitch as join, * skip the next 2 stitches, work (sc, 2 dc) in the next stitch, * repeat from * to * around; slip stitch in the top of the chain 2. (42 sts)
Round 5-10: Repeat Rounds 3 and 4
Fasten off and weave in ends.
