Springtime Violets Wraplet Crochet Pattern | Open Lace Shoulder Wrap

Sometimes the sweetest things come in smaller packages — and the Springtime Violets Wraplet is proof of that. This charming shoulder wrap is delicate, wearable, and absolutely gorgeous, with an open lace mesh body and a stunning speckled trim that adds just the right touch of whimsy.

This pattern was originally designed for Blue Mule Fiber for their booth at the 2018 Houston Fiber Fest — and it was created to showcase just how beautiful their xfine weight yarn truly is. The two-yarn combination of the main body and the speckled trim colorway is one of my favorite details in the entire Spring Wrap Collection.

About the Springtime Violets Wraplet

The Springtime Violets Wraplet is worked in xfine weight yarn using basic crochet stitches including front and back post stitches. The open lace mesh body is light and breathable, while the speckled trim along the edge adds beautiful texture and color contrast. Once blocked, it measures 8″ wide x 52″ long — the perfect size to drape over your shoulders, layer over a blouse or dress, or pin with your favorite brooch.

The sample was made in Blue Mule Fiber 6th Street XFine (75 grams) for the main body and Blue Mule Fiber XFine in Val Verde (10 grams) for the trim — a gorgeous pairing that truly brings this design to life.
