Introducing the Spring Coaster Set — The Perfect Handmade Gift!

There is something so satisfying about a handmade gift that is beautiful AND actually gets used every single day. The Spring Coaster Set was designed to be exactly that — four coaster designs worked in cotton yarn that are as lovely to display as they are practical to use. I designed this as the finale to the Spring Awakening collection and I wanted it to feel like a gift — both to make and to give.

The Spring Coaster Set includes four complete coaster patterns in one PDF download — a classic round, a modern square, a sweet flower, and a geometric hexagon. Perfectly timed for Mother’s Day and a beautiful handmade gift that she will reach for every morning with her coffee.

Styled flat lay on a dark wood surface featuring a set of crocheted coasters tied together with natural twine as a gift set. The coaster stack includes a yellow flower coaster, mint green coaster, and gray square coaster. In the upper left an American Crochet branded white mug sits on a finished square coaster alongside yellow sunflowers and lush green eucalyptus. A small decorative sign reading "Even So It Is Well With My Soul" is visible in the upper right corner. A navy blue wooden bead garland spelling "BLESSED" runs diagonally across the foreground. What’s Inside the Pattern

The Spring Coaster Set PDF includes four complete coaster patterns in one download:

The Round Coaster

A classic round coaster with a beautiful lace border detail worked in the final rounds. Clean timeless and works beautifully in any colorway. The lace edging adds an elegant finishing touch that elevates the whole piece.

Speckled Nest Eggs Set

Styled flat lay on a dark wood surface featuring three finished crocheted amigurumi eggs displayed in a woven basket surrounded by eucalyptus stems and white berry sprigs. The eggs show three variations — lavender with purple French knot speckles, blush pink with cream stripes worked in seed stitch, and solid teal. In the upper left three yarn cakes in blush pink, mint green, and soft lavender are arranged alongside a dark wooden crochet hook and decorative scissors. The Square Coaster

Worked from the center outward using corner increases — the same technique as a granny square but in solid single crochet for a modern structured look. Beautiful in a solid color or with a contrasting border round.

The Flower Coaster

A sweet flower shaped coaster with a contrasting center and petal border. Springlike cheerful and absolutely stunning as a gift set. The yellow and white combination is a personal favorite!

The Hexagon Coaster

A modern geometric hexagon with a contrasting border. Pairs beautifully with the round and square for a mixed set that feels collected and intentional.

About the Spring Coaster Set

The Spring Coaster Set is worked in joined rounds using worsted weight cotton yarn — a sturdy absorbent fiber that creates a functional finished coaster that holds its shape beautifully after washing. The smaller hook size creates a tight dense fabric that is perfect for coasters.

Sample shown in WeCrochet Dishie in Honeydew, Bumblebee, White, Verdigris, and Dewdrop — a spring palette that is fresh cheerful and absolutely beautiful in every home.
