Level of Difficulty – Beginner/Intermediate

Yarn – (2 skeins) of Yarn Bee, Melody Bulky – Naturals, 70% Wool and 30% Acrylic, 129 yards/113 grams per skein, 258 yards total. #5 Bulky Weight

Hook and Notions – Size Hook: K 10 ½ (6.5mm), scissors, blunt needle

Measurement – 7-inches wide and 28-inches long

Gauge – 5 stitched + 4 rows = 2-inches

Abbreviations

Ch = chain

Sc = single crochet

Hdc = half double crochet

Dc = double crochet

Trc = treble crochet

Notes – Chain 1 at beginning of round does not count unless otherwise stated.

 

Instructions

Chain 128, join with a slip stitch in the beginning chain. (be careful not to twist)

Round 1: Chain 1 (see pattern notes), sc in the same stitch as join, work (hdc, dc, tr, tr, dc, hdc, sc) over the next 7 stitches, * work (sc, hdc, dc, tr, tr, dc, hdc, sc) over the next 8 stitches, repeat from * around, ending with a sc in last stitch; join with a slip stitch in the beginning sc. (17 waves)
