Special Stitches
Half Double Crochet Decrease (HDC dec or hdc2tog) to work decrease: yarn over, insert hook into indicated stitch yarn over and pull through, (3 loops on hook), insert hook into next stitch yarn over and pull through (4 loops on hook), yarn over and draw through all 4 loops on hook: decrease made).

Instructions
Chain 30
Row 1 (working in back bump only): HDC in 2nd ch from hook and in each of the next 4 chains,
work 3 hdc in next chain,
* hdc in each of the next 3 chains,
skip next 2 chains, hdc in each of the next 3 chains,
work 3 hdc in next chain,
repeat from * across to last 5 chains,
hdc in each of the last 5 chains. Turn
Row 2 (working in back loops only): Chain 2,
hdc decrease over first 2 stitches,
hdc in each of the next 4 hdc,
work 3 hdc in next hdc,
* hdc in each of the next 3 hdc,
skip next 2 hdc, hdc in each of the next 3 hdc,
work 3 hdc in next hdc,
repeat from * across to last 6 hdc,
hdc in each of the next 4 hdc,
hdc decrease over last 2 hdc. Turn
Repeat Row 2 for 20 rows or until piece measures desired length.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
