Special Memories Blanket

Part Two

Hi Everyone! This week we will be working on Part Two of the Special Memories Blanket Crochet Along! Thank you all for sharing with me Part One of the blanket. I am loving getting to see all the color choices. It means a lot to me. By the end of the part you will have a better idea of how big your blanket will be and if you want to make it wider or not. Yarn
Worsted weight #4 370 yds per color, Color A ~ BlueBell, Color B ~ White, & Color C ~ Daffodil

Hook and Notions
Size Hook: I (5 mm), scissors, stitch markers, and blunt needle

Measurement
33” wide x 33“ long (Please keep in mind your blanket might be bigger than mine depending on how many times you repeat Rows 47 and 48 which are completely optional.)

Gauge
7 sts + 5 rows = 2 inches

Abbreviations
Ch/chs = chain/chains
Hdc = half double crochet
FLO hdc = front loop only half double crochet
BLO hdc = back loop only half double crochet

Instructions

COLORS: Color A ~ BlueBell; Color B ~ White; Color C ~ Daffodil

Working with Color A

Row 33 Part 2: Chain 3, sc into chain 1 space, hdc in each stitch across, ending with (sc, ch 1, hdc) in chain 3 space. Turn

Rows 34-36: Repeat Row 33 Fasten off Color A and attach Color B (74 sts, 2 ch 1 sps)

Rows 37-40: Repeat Row 33 Fasten off Color B and attach Color C (82 sts, 2 ch 1 sps)

Rows 41-46: Repeat Row 33 Fasten off Color C and attach Color A (94 sts, 2 ch 1 sps)

Row 47: Chain 3, sc into chain 1 space, * hdc in next stitch, slip stitch in next stitch, * repeat from * to * across, ending with a slip stitch, (sc, ch 1, hdc) in chain 3 space. Turn (96 sts, 2 ch 1 sps)

Row 48: Chain 3, sc into chain 1 space, * slip stitch in next stitch, hdc in next stitch, * repeat from * to * across, ending with a hdc, (sc, ch 1, hdc) in chain 3 space. Turn (98 sts, 2 ch 1 sps)

Rows 49-53: Repeat Rows 47 and 48 end Row 53 with a hdc, (sc, ch1, hdc) in chain 3 space. Turn Fasten off Color A and attach Color B (108 sts, 2 ch 1 sps)

Rows 54-59: Repeat Rows 47 and 48 Fasten off Color B and attach Color A (120 sts, 2 ch 1 sps)

Rows 60-63: Repeat Rows 47 and 48 Fasten off Color C and attach Color A (128 sts, 2 ch 1 sps)

OPTIONAL: Repeat Rows 47 and 48 until desired width
