Hello Everyone! Welcome back to Winter Wonder Shawl Crochet Along Part Six! I am so excited to see you here with your beautiful shawls. By now you should have Parts One through Five worked or have at least started on it. If you are just now finding your way to this awesome crochet along, welcome aboard. Grab your supplies, the first five sections, favorite snack and beverage, get cozy and start stitching up your shawl. Be sure to yell if you need help. I’m right here to help you out.

Winter Wonder Shawl ~ Crochet Along

REQUIREMENTS

Level of Difficulty
Advanced Beginner

Yarn
You may use any size yarn and the recommended hook size. However, depending on the bulkiness of the yarn will depend on how defined your stitches are.

Hooks and Notions
Hooks: H (5mm) & I (5.5mm), scissors and blunt yarn needle

Measurement
20-inches wide and 60-ISH inches long – using CupCake yarn.

Gauge
Mine is 5 hdc + 4 rows = 2-inches (beginning of shawl)
using the Lion Brand CupCake yarn

Abbreviations – US Terminology
Ch/chs = chain/chains
Sc = single crochet
Hdc = half double crochet
Dc = double crochet
St(s) = stitch(s)

Queue & Favorite on Ravelry!
I used Lion Brand Cupcake #3 in Coffee Break. You may use any size yarn and the recommended hook size. However, depending on the bulkiness of the yarn will depend on how defined your stitches are.
If your yarn suggests using a I hook, then you will also need a J hook. UNLESS you crochet loosely
Chain 1 at beginning of row does not count.

Instructions

Row 86: Chain 1, *sc in 26 stitches, sc decrease over next 2 stitches, sc in the next 26, sc decrease over next 2 stitches, sc in the next 25 stitches across. Turn (79 sc)

Row 87: Chain 1, dc in same stitch, *work (hdc, dc) in next stitch, skip the next stitch* repeat from *to* across, dc in last stitch. Turn (38 (hdc, dc sets), 2 dc)

Row 88: Chain 1, dc in same stitch, work *(hdc, dc) in next dc, skip next hdc,* repeat from *to* across, dc in last stitch. Turn (38 (hdc, dc sets), 2 dc)

Rows 89-98: Repeat Rows 87 and 88

Rows 99-102: Chain 1, hdc in each stitch across. Turn (79 hdc)
