The Bernard Square is Block 20 in the Riverwood Square CAL 2025 – Modern Version. It’s worked using single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet stitches, with subtle texture from front loop only and back loop only rows. This 9-inch square brings soft balance and height variation to your finished layout.

Materials:
Red Heart Super Saver, 1 skein
To substitute, use a worsted weight yarn, 20 yards, preferable with similar fibers.

Hook:
US Size I (5.5 mm)
